Za Mizo means “at the table” in Slovenian. Funnily enough, that’s exactly where it all began! At a table.

We’re Neža Agnes and Alexi, two individuals turned friends who were craving community and a renewed passion for our craft deep in the jungles of Mexico. We spent days swimming in the ocean, talking about business and life, cooking together, photographing, filming, laughing. Somewhere between all those conversations, Za Mizo was born.

This is a story about a table, about feeling safe, seen, and full (in every sense of the word!). And this is the magic we’re recreating here.

Even if you feel lost, unsure of your path, if you don’t feel like you’ve “made it,” you still have so much to offer. At this table, there’s space for you.

Za Mizo isn’t a traditional retreat. It’s a carefully crafted luxury experience built around connection, creativity, learning and belonging. You’ll gain new perspectives, deeper friendships and a fresh wave of inspiration.

Neža Agnes

I’m Neža Agnes, a Europe based photographer and filmmaker.

Slovenia is my home country and it makes me so incredibly happy that you’ll experience the beauty of this land! I’m passionate about raw, honest human connection, about stories, love, food and experiences that make your life memorable.

My goal is to show you how to create with ease, how to capture honest, emotional stories for your dream clients without overthinking or doubting yourself. Together, we’ll explore the beauty of real connection, directing and gentle guidance instead of posing, and how to bring more authenticity into your creative process.

Alexi

I’m Alexi, a photographer from Washington State.

What I do for work isn’t who I am, it’s more how I do it that represents who I am. I live with intention and passion, and am hell-bent on making a difference in the world. I feel big, I love big, I live big. So don’t be surprised when you witness some tears, because, trust me, it’s gonna happen. I intend for us all to become gal pals, and it’s a priority for me to ensure that you feel seen and heard.

I truly cannot wait for this experience to create together and join in celebration of life and this gorgeous country of Slovenia! Can’t wait to hug ya!
